Here is a question. What do people with ADD/ADHD like to read for fun? What do you like to read?

Re: reading
Tue, October 6, 2009 - 7:18 PMQuite a bit, I read the way some people eat...and my food for the mind includes everything from "junk food" (Archie Comics) to a real "meal" (like Shakespeare, though not as much since I graduated college), though mostly in-between stuff, fantasy, sci-fi, romance novels, suspense, mystery...My favorite book is Phantom by Susan Kay ( a fabulous retelling of the Phantom of The Opera story) with Watchers by Dean Koontz as a close second.

Re: reading
Tue, October 6, 2009 - 9:53 PMI sometimes will take a couple of months to go through a book. I sometimes get jealous. of people who can read two or three books a week. The sad thing is, I have read as fast as 450 words per minute. -

Wed, October 14, 2009 - 3:55 PMI seem to enjoy anything pertaining facts. To me this is short, sweet and to the point without too much fluff which distracts me. I too take a very long time to read Ted and yes I get frustrated with my speed but I love reading none the less. I like reading auto biographies, books of quotes and teachings, psychology books, short stories on fictional stuff. I don't like to read sci- fi but I love to watch it..I'm more visual.
